ECO CLUB ACTIVITIES FOR DIFFERENT GROUPS

Eco Clubs can happen anywhere – in Fab Labs, workshops, classrooms, gardens, social cafes and community centers, or even as part of farm festivals. What makes them so powerful is their flexibility: every group can shape its own version based on local skills, interests, and materials.

We share with you a collection of Eco Club moments with different communities:

  • Makers & Fab Labs building birdhouses, bat houses, DIY wildlife cameras, repairing tools, sewing, and upcycling
  • Repair events boosting problemsolving skills through hands-on workshops
  • Organisations and networks using Eco Club sessions for team building and voluntary engagement
  • Communities & caretakers using Eco Club activities to counter loneliness & support mental wellbeing
  • Social spaces supporting integration and education through planting sessions and digital topics
  • Educators & schools bringing Eco Clubs into maker spaces for project-oriented learning
  • Food enthusiasts joining seasonal permaculture sessions to explore local resources
  • Farm festivals integrating Repair Cafés, Eco Club stations, and upcycled games

We’ve also collected our experiences and compiled them into a presentation full of insights and recommendations. To support you on your own Eco Club journey. Download the presentation here: [Download PDF]

And these pictures highlight how diverse Eco Club projects can be – and how they bring people together through meaningful activities and new discoveries.
